MINUTES OF THE MEETING

HELD ON 17TH May  2004AT 7.00 p.m. IN THE JUBILEE HALL

In the absence of Mr Peter Taylor Mr John Cutland chaired the meeting.

 

1   Planning Applications: -

The following application was considered.

 

PR04/1551/LB  Old Church Farm, Church Road,     Internal works,new WC partitions,

                            Rudgeway                                          renovations of internal rooms.

 

This is a listed building, and the works are internal, the council offered no comment.

 

2    Planning Permissions Granted: -

 

      The Chairman reported that the following planning permissions had been granted.

 

      PT04/0959/F   10 Downfield Close Alveston.              Erection of a two story extension to form

                                                                                                 replacement garage,WC. and family

                                                                                                /breakfast room 2no. bedrooms and en-suite

                                                                                                facilities over

 

      PT04/1025/F     2 Willoughby Close Alveston.            Erection of rear conservatory.

 

     

      PT04/1047/F     15 Willoughby Close Alveston.          Erection of rear conservatory.

 

      PT04/0274/F     15 Wolfridge Ride Alveston.              Alteration to roof line and installation of 1

                                                                                                dormer in side elevation to facilitate loft

                                                                                                conversion to form 2 bedrooms.

 

      PT04/0932/F   Rear of Porch House                            Erection of detached dwelling.

     

3    Planning Permissions Refused: -

 

      The chairman reported that the following planning consents had been refused.

 

      PT04/0352/F   5 Bridle way                                           Demolition of existing double garage.

                                                                                                Erection of single story extension to form

                                                                                                Garage and additional living accommodation

                                                                                                And installation of roof lights to facilitate loft

                                                                                                Conversion.

7 Other Correspondence.

 

      The Chairman reported that planning details for Park Farm Gloucester Road. (Use of buildings for storage and distribution of timber. Application No. PT04/1418/F) had been forwarded to the Parish Council for information only..

 

The clerk had written in the agenda paper that

                      “Due to the current problems of still addressing some correspondence to A Feltham by South Gloucestershire Council, the letter relating to the application on 5 Bridal Way giving the date of the Development control meeting had passed before the clerk received the letter. This problem has yet again been addressed with the Planning department who will endeavor to ensure all correspondence comes to the current Clerk.”

 

The Clerk reported that a paper on progress on Berkeley Vale’s application no. PT04/1143/F, had been received. That South Gloucestershire Council recommends granting permission after further consultation with Government bodies.
