council do however object to the two applications below.

council object on the previous application to be the
a) The
height is still much higher than that of
the surrounding buildings, in
b) The
Style of the houses is out of keeping with Davids lane.

The vehicles access particularly the
splay and visibility is of concern as the access is onto a busy road and over a
footpath in Courville close which is the only access in and out of the
development for both motor vehicles and mobility vehicles.
d) The
mass of buildings is too great for the site and has an overpowering effect on
the neighbours.
e) Guide
lines given in Development in the Green Belt suggests that as Alveston is
washed over then infill development is small in scale and does not affect the
character of the area, the council consider this development will affect the
area.
f)
If the guide lines of demolishing a
dwelling states the dwelling must be beyond a state of repair and this property
is not beyond repair.
