The council object on the previous application to be the

a)     The height  is still much higher than that of the surrounding buildings, in Davids Lane.

b)     The Style of the houses is out of keeping with Davids lane.

c)      The vehicles access particularly the splay and visibility is of concern as the access is onto a busy road and over a footpath in Courville close which is the only access in and out of the development for both motor vehicles and mobility vehicles.

d)     The mass of buildings is too great for the site and has an overpowering effect on the neighbours.

e)     Guide lines given in Development in the Green Belt suggests that as Alveston is washed over then infill development is small in scale and does not affect the character of the area, the council consider this development will affect the area.

f)        If the guide lines of demolishing a dwelling states the dwelling must be beyond a state of repair and this property is not beyond repair.
