3     Evacuation procedures.

This new topic on the agenda is the result of recent changes in legislation. The procedures are the same as stated in the full council meeting of 18th June. The fire exit is also the entrance door, or through the door to the main hall and then out. The assembly point is the front of the Jubilee Hall.

4    Minutes of the meeting held on 4th June 2007 and Matters arising

The minutes were approved and signed by the chairman.

5.   Matters arising from Committee reports

         Footpaths.

Recommendation that the South Gloucestershire Council  councillors are asked to investigate why very little footpath repair work is carried out. The lists of previous years may have been superseded, but the paths are still needing attention.

If Anita Walker is away, we are told her work does not get progressed. As she seems to be on long term sick how will her work be progressed, eg authorisation for repairs, report on horse kicking in field next to Forty Acre Lane?

6     Financial report.

Attached is the current spending against the budget. The area of over spending is in the playing fields, the money should be taken from reserves. The reserves figure this year is £8090, this can be reduced to £5000 any remaining at the end of the year above £5000 should be either used to reduce next years precept or transferred to the development fund.
