Planning Applications
The Parish
Council considered the following application at the planning committee meeting
on the7th November 2005. No comment was made on the applications below,
PT05/3008/F Land at Shepherds The street Conversion of existing barns/agricultural
buildings
to form 1 no. dwelling.

PT05/3104/F Strode House Alveston. Erection of rear conservatory.
The council object to the application
below on the grounds that the build mass is unsuitable for the site and the
provision of off street parking has not been adequately demonstrated. Parking
on the road at this point is a traffic hazard.
PT05/2999/F 22 The Square Alveston. Demmolition
of existing extension to
facilitate
erection of two storey side and
rear
extension to form kitchen,bathroom,
and
additional bedroom over. Erection of
single
storey extension to form kitchen
store.
Erection of side lobby and rear
porch.
Erection of rear conservatory.
The
council object to the application below on the grounds that the side dormers
would be out of keeping with the rest of the houses in the row. The council has
no objections to the dormers at the rear of the building.

Letters written
to South Gloucestershire Council Chairman on Monday 24th October in
connection with lack of communication on enforcement at the Woodland cemetery.
To date no reply has been received. A letter was written on 26th
October to Mark Davis requesting information on enforcement action to be taken
against 4 Bridle Way, again no reply.

to South Gloucestershire Council on
Monday 7th re 4 Bridle way, no enforcement officer available to
discuss that case, but further investigation by other members of the planning
team found that an application had been received on Nov 2nd, but has yet to be
processed
